Over the past week, the City of Sultan has been actively engaging with the community, fostering connections, and gathering valuable feedback. Here's a brief summary of our activities:
Community Survey: We're thrilled to announce that we have collected over 120 surveys in the past week. The community's willingness to participate has been phenomenal.
Thanks to everyone who has submitted a response so far. If you haven’t taken the survey yet, we want to hear from you too! Please spend 2 minutes sharing your thoughts about the future of Sultan by following this [link].
Budgeting Exercise: During the National Night Out and Farmers Market events, we conducted a budgeting exercise that resonated with the Sultan community. People loved playing the game, and now we have a better idea of community priorities for the 2024 Comprehensive Plan.
Looking ahead to August, we have an exciting lineup of events and tabling locations where you can find us:
Red Apple: every Wednesday and Thursday from 4PM to 6PM
Farmers Market: every Saturday from 9Am to 2PM
City Hall: Hosting interactive sessions to encourage residents to share their ideas and suggestions.
VOA Lunch: Connecting with Sultan seniors to understand their unique perspectives and challenges.
Coffee with the City: every Thursday from 9:30AM to 10:30AM
We invite you all to come and participate in these events, play the game, and share your visions for Sultan's future. Together, we can create a city that thrives on community collaboration and inclusivity.
